George Square Studios

The Studios are located inside the University buildings of 40 George Square, located in the southeast corner of George Square. Studio Bar services all the venues, this is in the basement of the building accessible via the glass box (stairs and access lift). Toilets are located via the glass box for all venues (Studios One - Five and Underground).

Studio One

- 288 capacity, 13 steps – no level access

- Location – top level, access via external doors – behind the glass box.

- Seat information – fixed rows via stairs, individual flip down seats, 440mmx400mm

Studio Two

- 195 capacity, 13 steps – no level access

- Location – top level, access via external doors – behind the glass box.

- Seat information – fixed rows via stairs, individual flip down seats, 440mmx400mm

Studio Three

- 195 capacity, 6 steps

- Level access via glass box and two lifts (both lifts 500kg weight limit)

- Location – top level, access via external doors – to the left of the glass box

- Seat information – fixed rows via stairs, individual flip down seats, 440mmx400mm

Studio Four

- 60 capacity, 0 steps

- Location – basement level, access via glass box (stairs or lift) from George Square.

- Drop off – Windmill Lane for level access through automatic doors

- Seat information – individual seats, 460mmx400mm

Studio Five

- 87 capacity, 0 steps

- Location – basement level, access via glass box (stairs or lift) from George Square.

- Drop off – Windmill Lane for level access through automatic doors

- Seat information – individual seats, 460mmx400mm

Underground

- 100 capacity, 0 steps

- Location – basement level, access via glass box (stairs or lift) from George Square.

- Drop off – Windmill Lane for level access through automatic doors

- Seat information – individual high back seats, secured together, 450mmx520mm
