DB1 is a black box end-on theatre space with raked seating and a capacity of 72. Entrance to the stage is available from stage left and right and the performance area is 9.0m x 6.6.m. There is no crossover but it is possible to use a corridor outside of the studio as a crossover. There is an overhead lighting rig and side lights. The space has a black dance floor as standard.
