The Festival Garden
Our new city-centre oasis will be the perfect place to catch up with friends and family in a relaxed outdoor social setting. It will play host to a mouth-watering selection of local food makers alongside an exciting array of drinks options. It’s a chilled family space during the day that transforms into a bustling festival hub when the sun goes down.
On a select few days, the Garden will transform into a music festival with our headliners playing to the whole Garden on our outdoor main stage.
The Queen of Flanders
A spectacular double-decker spiegeltent that has to be seen to be believed. Making its first appearance in the UK, the stunning art deco themed tent is one the largest of its kind in the world. Adorned with ornate stained glass, wood panelling and red velvet seating, the Queen is the perfect space to share a belated hello to the roaring twenties. The name spiegeltent comes from the Dutch for mirror tent and they trace their roots back to Belgium in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century where they served as touring dancehalls and event spaces, a role they still excel at more than 100 years later.
The Queen of Flanders will play host to some of our larger shows including our spectacular headliners – Circolombia and Choir of Man and can seat up to 1,000 guests. Make your visit extra special by selecting our very best seats in the Royal Gallery which place you front and centre to the action plus benefit from priority entry.
The venue has level access suitable for wheelchairs.
Our pint-sized Piccolo spiegeltent is our compact custom-built theatre space which is great for comedy, cabaret, children’s shows and more. Featuring raked seating on wood and leather benches arranged in a semi-circular pattern it's the perfect place to discover something new or kick off a family day out.
Piccolo also has level access suitable for wheelchairs.
Situated high above the Garden, the Treehouse is an exciting performance and social space which will play host to a selection of intimate shows, events and celebrations. Equipped with relaxed seating and a well-stocked bar, the Treehouse is the perfect place to soak up the festival atmosphere and look out over the Garden.
The Treehouse also has level access suitable for wheelchairs via a lift.
