Bringing new Scottish writing to the stage!
We are very excited to announce the winner of the ART Award for this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe is Prophets - a drama from Fringe First-winning writer Jack MacGregor that examines the intersection between faith and cult, an exploration of violent belief at the edge of the world.
For the first time ever, we have also awarded a runner-up prize to BearGirl - a play from Emery Schaffer about making peace with the beast within, written after The Bear by Anton Chekhov (1888) - due to the strength of their application.
