Assembly in 2009

Thanks for a great festival!

2009 was another great festival for Assembly. A big thank you to you all - our performers, technicians, publicists, and of course audience - for making this such a successful year.

Over 260,000 people have been to shows at Assembly over the last 26 days. You've queued in the rain and the sun; you’ve taken our new locally sourced new café menu to heart and discovered the joys of our amazing breakfasts and 'haggis nachos' (a match made in heaven); and you've enjoyed our carefully selected range of beers, wines, spirits and unique cocktails.

We have loved hosting you and over 100 amazing shows….and it’s not just us and you who think they are amazing, the critics and award judges have been lavishing their praise too.
